Let There Be Light!
L e t T h e r e B e L i g h t

Scripture
tells us that light originates in God. His light fills the immensity of space
until it reaches us on earth. Science defines light as a broad swath of energy
in the electromagnetic spectrum, from ultraviolent and x-rays at high frequency,
to radio waves at lower frequency. The visible spectrum of light is a small but
important portion of it for us here on earth. Sound is also an important frequency
of light for us here. We take both of these frequencies of energy into our
bodies via seeing and hearing, along with those of other senses including taste
(eating), smelling, and feeling (intuition or spiritual sensitivity). Light
(frequency) can change us, even affecting our DNA. This short paper addresses
how the simple acts of speaking (sound) and seeing (sight) can cause change in
our bodies right down to the cellular level.
We know that what we see and hear in a movie can
affect us emotionally and spiritually. Few understand, however, that what we see
and hear can potentially change our DNA too. Japanese researcher Masaru Emoto's
photographic documentation of the results of words spoken over water (audible frequency), or typed letters of
the same words exposed to it (visual
frequency), reveal that both influence the resulting form of frozen water
crystals, doing so either positively or negatively. Emoto photographed crystals
that were either ordered, beautiful, and appealing, or disordered, chaotic, and
ugly. This is because words like "evil" or "you disgust me"
were spoken over the water, or exposed to it in visual form, resulting in
frozen crystals of water that lacked order - one definition for ugliness. Opposite
this were ordered, beautiful designs when words like "eternal",
"love" or "truth" were instead exposed to the water. Whether
it was photographs, videos, typed or spoken words, the effects were the same. Such
results reveal the great power of audible
and visual frequency which either bless
or curse, heal or destroy.[i] The words
and pictures we hear and see are taken into our bodies and affect us for better
or worse. Both are electromagnetic energy or light that have more powerful effects on us than most realize.
Research
in the scientific community reveals similar results to those of Emoto. It
reveals that at a genetic or biological level, light does influence us in profound physical ways, even down to our
DNA. This is true of all kinds of light,
including the visible light we see and audible light we hear. Both can be
reduced to simple frequency in the
electromagnetic spectrum. Simple blue light,
for example, is used today in hospitals to heal jaundiced newborn babies. In
1921, a Noble Prize was given to Nels Finsen for successfully treating
tuberculosis skin lesions simply by taking patients to high mountaintops, where
greater quantities of ultraviolet
radiation - in natural sunlight - was present. Striking the skin and
entering the eyes, the light of the sun stimulated various glands and hormones
in the body to encourage natural healing.1
Drawing
on meticulously documented research, Leonard Horowitz expertly demonstrated
that DNA emits and receives electromagnetic waves of light - both in photons (visible frequency) and phonons
(audible frequency). He noted that in
the 1990s, "three Nobel laureates in medicine advanced research that revealed
the primary function of DNA lies not
in protein synthesis ... but in the realm of bio-acoustic and bio-electric signaling."2 In other
words, light, both audible and visual frequency, affects our DNA.
Inter-cellular Light Communication
It was scientist Fritz Albert Popp who produced
Nobel prize-winning research revealing that every cell in the human body not
only receives and stores "light",
but emits coherent light itself in
the form of bio-photons. His work
showed that the cells of our bodies communicate both electromagnetically and
chemically, creating biochemical pathways interconnecting all the functions of
the body.
Human vision, for example, begins when visible
light strikes the optic nerve at the back of the eye, converting it into a
chemical or biological signal - an electrochemical translation. First there
must be an electromagnetic signal triggering this response - an external energy
or frequency source - light. Cymatics studies reveal that different amplified sound
frequencies cause different geometric forms to appear when directed towards
sand particles on a flat plate of glass. These simple, yet profound experiments
reveal physical and visual affects of just one kind of light
energy, sound frequency. All of light's frequencies have power to affect
change, including changing us, emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
In a different study, Popp chose to work
specifically with UV light because of the experiments of a Russian biologist
named Alexander Gurwitsch, who, while working with onions in 1923, discovered
that roots could stimulate a neighboring plant's roots if the two adjacent
plants were in quartz glass pots, but not if they were in silicon glass pots.
The only difference being that the silicon filtered UV wavelengths of light
while the quartz did not. Gurwitsch theorized that onion roots could
communicate with each other over distance by ultraviolet light.3
Human DNA & Light
Similarly,
two Russian scientists, Peter Gariaev and Vladimir Poponin explored how human
DNA responds to external light. Their research showed that our DNA has a
special ability to attract photons,
causing it to spiral along the helix-shaped DNA molecule instead of proceeding
along a linear path. In other words, DNA
has the amazing ability–unlike any other known molecule – to bend or weave
received light around itself. Additional evidence reveals that
double-stranded DNA has the “amazing” ability to recognize similarities in
other DNA strands from a distance. They are somehow able to identify one
another, with the tiny bits of genetic material tending to congregate with
similar DNA.
Two other Russian Scientists, "Veljkovic and
Cosic proposed that molecular interactions are electrical in nature, and that
they take place over distances that are large compared with the size of
molecules. Cosic later introduced the idea of dynamic electromagnetic field
interactions, that molecules recognize their particular targets and vice versa
by electromagnetic resonance. In other words, the molecules send out specific
frequencies of electromagnetic waves which not only enable them to 'see' and
'hear' each other, as both photon and
phonon modes exist for
electromagnetic waves, but also to influence each other at a distance and
become ineluctably drawn to each other if vibrating out of phase (in a
complementary way)."4 Like is thus attracted to like, a
sympathetic resonance of the frequency of light. In scriptural terms, as we receive and respond to God's word and
light, we become more like Him, we resonate at a similar frequency closer to
His great light.
The Light
of Christ
In a 1993 study reported in the journal Advances, the U.S. Army performed
experiments to determine whether there was a connection between human emotion
and the DNA of the same person separated from it by significant distance. The
researchers started by collecting a swab of tissue and DNA from the inside of a
volunteer’s mouth. This sample was isolated and taken to another room in
the same building, where they began to investigate a phenomenon that modern
science says shouldn’t exist. In a specially designed chamber, the DNA
was measured electrically to see if it responded to the emotions of the person
it came from who was in another room several hundred feet away. There, the
subject was shown a series of video images designed to create strong emotion
inside his body. The donor was to experience a spectrum of emotions within
a brief time period. While doing so, his DNA was measured in the separate
room for its response.
When the donor experienced emotional “peaks” and
“dips,” his separated cells and DNA in it showed a powerful electrical response,
at the same exact instance in time. Although distances measured in
hundreds of feet separated the donor and the samples, the DNA acted as if it
was still physically connected to his body. Experiments continued, showing that
at a separation of 350 miles between the donor and his cells the effects were
the same. The time between the donor’s experience and the cell’s response was
gauged by an atomic clock located in Colorado. In each experiment, the effects
were simultaneous, suggesting a unified field of instant communication
connecting the two. The experiment showed four things:
1.
Human emotion has a direct influence on living DNA.
2.
Distance appears to be of no consequence with regard to the effects.
3.
This presented a previously unrecognized form of energy exists between living
tissues.
4.
Cells and DNA communicate through this field of energy.
A Unified Field Horowitz
stated, “A unified subliminal field of potentially universal consciousness
apparently exists and may be explained as emerging from a previously overlooked
physical vacuum.”2 Some have referred to this ever-present field of
energy surrounding us as "intelligent light" or "intention
energy". It is distinct from that of gravity and traditional views of
electromagnetic radiation generally. In 1913, Dr. Eli Cartan termed it
“torsion” energy, noting its twisting movement through the fabric of
space-time. In the 1990's it inspired an entire generation of Russian
scientists who authored thousands of papers on the subject. Today it is known
as the "unified field" theory
or "the electric universe", perfectly described by our Savior in
D&C 88 in connection with His love and light. It is the "light of
Christ". In
D&C 88 we learn that He is the source of all light in His creation. It is
sent out, influencing all things. It is the governing
power and law in and through all
things, giving life to various
portions of His creation. It is the ordering and beautifying principle which
His creation recognizes. The unified field appears to be the Light of Christ.
In verses 11-13 of D&C 88, God states:
"And the light which shineth, which
giveth you light, is through him who enlighteneth your eyes, which is
the same light that quickeneth your
understandings; Which light proceedeth forth from the presence of God
to fill the immensity of space - The light
which is in all things, which is the law by which all things are
governed, even the power of God who
sitteth upon his throne, who is in the bosom of eternity, who is in the
midst of all things."
Scripture and science both reveal that matter
responds to light. The foundational structure of our bodies - DNA, is no
exception. Research has shown the existence of internal photons in our
cells—internal light— and that it is the basis of virtually all cellular and
systemic function. This is true of all living forms. DNA is not only a
foundational aspect of our bodies but it also serves as a place of data storage
and communication. Research reveals that to activate DNA and stimulate healing
on the cellular level, one can simply use healing words (audible frequency). This
is the basis of prayer, blessings, and loved filled conversation. It is the
reason symbolic visual actions or gestures are also employed by acts of
healing. The Savior demonstrated this throughout His ministry, speaking words
of power to those He healed, while also displaying visually symbolic actions
with his hands, like placing clay with His own spittle in it to help one blind
man see. Emoto provided evidence of this visual power. What we see and hear are
at their simplest form, different frequencies of light, God's light. This is
apparently the reason why we not only hear
words spoken in a blessing, but we see it too, in hands laid on another's head.
There is power in the word and in the
visual symbol to affect change.
Blessing and
Cursing
This is part of the great power behind the Lord's
Supper, one of the most important ordinances we participate in, but perhaps not
frequently enough. When the words of the Sacrament prayers are read over the
symbolic emblems of the Lord's body (His torn flesh and shed blood), the bread
and wine (or water) are apparently transformed at a foundational level for our
benefit. When these physical things are ingested into our bodies, they then
transform us, providing healing and perhaps slowly changing our DNA (if it be
God's will). In so doing, we become more and more like our Lord, a
transformation of our DNA into His. This may occur as we are repentant and
receptive to the continuing instruction of our Savior - to His word. Scripture
tells us that He is not only "the light of the world", but He is also
"the Word". We are encouraged to receive His word, that it might transform
us, literally. This may represent another layer defining sanctification; a transformation of our DNA into His. He is, after
all, the Creator and Redeemer, the Father of our salvation.
The first recorded miracle of our Lord was
transforming water into wine (John 2:1-11). He spoke, at His mother's request
at an important wedding, where molecules of water in six pots recognized and
obeyed His voice, changing it into quality red wine. It was evidence of His
power in an earlier role as the Great Creator, Jehovah. It also signified that
through the offering of His red blood in the Atonement, our fallen natures and
our weak bodies may be transformed into glorious spiritual ones. We may become
beings of light. The Lord said, “Take this…This cup is the new testament in my
blood, which is shed for you” (Luke 22:17-18, 20). Most associations with the
color red in scripture are to attributes, events, or things of a more negative
perspective, such as sin, violence, and death. The Atonement was an act of
love. Through it and our repentance we are redeemed from the effects of the
fall, including not only sin, but death. Isaiah wrote of the Atonement stating,
“Though your sins be scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they be red
like crimson, they shall be as wool” (Isaiah 1:18). To be like God and have
eternal life we must return to a more perfected state, including that of our
DNA (at least from a spiritual perspective).
The science we have read about in this paper,
concerning communication via light at the DNA level, provides evidence of
changes in us that scripture has always suggested. Those who act on belief in
God and His word are rewarded with actual physical changes in our bodies, not
just spiritual changes in the mind, heart, and spirit. For the most significant
changes to occur, however, there must be pure intention, combined with the will of God. Then our transformation
- into a new creation - can unfold.
We are then born again. The change is both spiritual and physical.
Significant change seen in translation,
resurrection, and creation, all appear to be centered in the principles
addressed in this short discussion. Eventually our own DNA may become like that
of our Creator. It is a return, a reflection of the whole purpose of the
mysteries in the Gospel of Christ. We are to become light, like Him.
Speaking
the Earth into Existence
When God spoke, matter recognized His signature
frequency and creation unfolded. It continues throughout the cosmos today. Ancient
Hebrew teachings suggest that the letters of their alphabet were used in God's
creation of the earth. God spoke these words of power and matter throughout the
cosmos responded to His light in them. The creation story in Genesis, Moses,
and the temple supports this. God said into the dark void, "Let there be
light, and there was light". His spoken word was light interfacing with
matter. It was then infused with life.
Jewish sages suggest that their 22-letter alphabet
is also a timeline for His creation,
our earth and its inhabitants.5 The first letter A or Aleph in the Hebrew alphabet is
understood to be the beginning of creation. The middle point or chiastic center
is marked by the 13th letter Mem,
tied to our Lord's Atonement and Resurrection. And the end is signaled by the
22nd letter Tav (a T-shaped letter) tied
to God's return in "judgment" at "the end". This last
letter of the Hebrew alphabet is thought to represent the scales of justice. It
reflects the current state of things in our world today, approaching coming
judgment. All things in the Lord's creation must rise to a higher level or be
destroyed by His brilliant, glorious light (powerful electromagnetic frequency
or energy) when He returns. Who will abide the day of His coming (Malachi 3:2)?
One effective way to assist our transformation to a higher state is to
regularly partake of the Lord's Supper in connection with repentance. It may
help transform our DNA, assisting a return to light.
Sanctification and Transformation

appears to transform our DNA
into that of our Creator's DNA, assisting a return to His light. It may
be part of the beginning stages of translation, according to the mind
and will of the Lord. There must first be belief. The great healer
Yashua often asked those He wished to make whole
if they first believed. Thereafter He then spoke the words of life to
them. Becoming cleansed or sanctified is another essential step. This
occurs as we become one with God through prayer, meditation, and
spending much time in His word (scripture). The regular
consuming of his symbolic torn flesh and shed blood is another
important key in the process of personal sanctification and
transformation. Together with belief, repentance, and seeking
at-one-ment with God, power exists in this sacred ordinance to heal and
transform us, right down to the cellular level, including our DNA, if
it is His will.
Emoto's
simple but profound work reveals that the light or frequency contained
in speaking or even showing words of love and affirmation - before water
- has positive physical effects on it, revealed in the formation of
beautiful,
organized crystals of various forms when it is frozen. Such words of
power spoken over the sacred emblems of our Lord's body provide power to
heal and transform us through His love and light.

Until penicillin was discovered in 1938, sunlight and its ultraviolet
radiation was one of the preferred methods of treating a wide variety of
infectious diseases, a way of stimulating the patient's own immune system,
especially various glands that produce hormones when the eyes gather sunlight
and signal them to secret the hormones.
Mal-nutrition
is a problem in many third-world nations, whereas Mal-illumination is a growing problem in modern, industrialized
nations. In the movie Joe and the Volcano, actor Tom Hanks stated, These
fluorescent lights are sucking the life out of me." Few people would
knowingly ingest polluted water or food, yet most of us do not think about absorbing
polluted light for hours each day with unhealthy man-made lighting. Most
fluorescent lighting, for example, does not contain the full spectrum of color
inherent in natural white sunlight, which contains all seven colors of light
naturally as Sir Isaac Newton discovered in 1665, when he sent white sunlight
through a pyramidal prism of glass, separating it into its seven component
colors. Using a second prism, he combined them back into white light. The
different colors (representing different frequencies of light) enter our bodies
through the eyes and skin, then trigger various glands in the brain to secret
important hormones for the body to operate normally, aiding natural healing.
With less exposure to the sun today, proper hormone secretion is lessened,
interrupted, even stopped. We thus experience mal-illumination and poorer
resulting health.
Ancient cultures understood this, and
therefore sunbathed each day for health reasons. Our reason today to sunbathe
are more tied to beauty and skin color. The Ancients realized that the white
light of the sun is a complete, balanced nutrient containing all seven colors
of the visible light spectrum (plus a lot more - like ultraviolet radiation).
Herodotus stated, "...exposure to the sun is highly necessary in persons
whose health needs restoring". The Egyptians were the first to use
different colors of light for healing, constructing elaborate temples of light
to treat the afflicted (Liberman p. 22). The Greeks, however, were the first to
later document both the theory and practice of solar therapy. According to
ophthalmologist Jacob Liberman, "Heliopolis, the Greek city of the sun,
was famous for its healing temples, in which sunlight was borken up into its
spectral components (colors)", each used for a specific medical problem.
"The Greeks not only believed in the curative properties of light, but
specifically thought that light treatments were most effective by way of the
eyes. They believed that the eyes were the most accessible path to the internal
organs", not only the windows to the soul (according to Shakespeare), but
to a healthy body. (See Jacob Liberman, Light: Medicine of the Future, Bear and
Company, pps. 7-8, 22.)
Luke, thought to be a physician in the
Bible, stated, "The light of the body is in the eye" (Luke 11:34). Budge and Nibley have associated the
circular hypocephalus known to Latter-days Saints as Facsimile 2 with the
Egyptian Wedjat eye, the Eye of
Horus; a transmitter for light (see One Eternal Round, Deseret Book, p. 332).
In D&C 88 we read that, "the light which shineth, which giveth you
light, is through him who enlighteneth your eyes,
which is the same light that quickeneth your understandings" (D&C
88:11). The Light of Christ provides physical light for seeing and healing, along with spiritual
understanding.

Anciently there were no written numbers in Hebrew. Letters
were assigned numerical values. Thus A was 1, B was 2 and so on - every letter
carrying numerical and symbolic value. Numbers in scripture and sacred
architecture have symbolic meaning beyond simple computation. The chart
represents the author’s condensed number and letter symbolism tied to Joe Sampson’s
research on Joseph Smith’s Egyptian Alphabet and Grammar. Much of it was created by W. W. Phelps
and Joseph Smith as an aid in decoding the Book of Joseph, part of early
translation work for the Book of Abraham.
5 The Hebrew
Alphabet as a Timeline
Many believe the sequence from letter 1 to letter 22 of the Hebrew
alphabet expresses a complete history of the earth in regard to time (see above). The first letter aleph in this alphabet (Gematria 1) points to God as the origin of creation; the 13th and middle letter mem (Gematria 40) is representative of
the wise owl (representing “Messiah”
in the meridian of time); and the 22nd letter tav (Gematria 400) is representative of scales – of “justice” in Christ’s return in final judgment at the
end of time. According to Sampson, the number 22 appears to have connection to
the final judgment and end times,
since Tav (the last letter of the modified Hebrew alphabet) is the 22nd
letter (400 in Gematria / 400 years [judgment] was the time the Children of
Israel were held captive in Egypt, and the time between Christ’s personal visit
in 3 Nephi and their eventual destruction as a people.)
Sampson states that,
“By shape, Tav in its earliest form is the cross and is considered as the sign,
mark or token. In the Book of Ezekiel the angels of heaven in judgment, fly
through the streets of Jerusalem and mark the righteous with the cross [or Tau
mark] on the forehead. These will be spared from destruction…It is the token
that they have passed their judgment and are not found…wanting. It is also an
ideographic motif of the scales of justice and mercy, symbolized by its cross
design, implying division.” It should be remembered that the actual cross of
Christ was a T shape (chap. 7), not a traditional Roman cross, with center post

The Number 22 & Judgment at the
End The 22-letter Hebrew alphabet chart
has ties to judgment in connection
with the number 22. The number 22 in
scripture is repeatedly tied to judgment,
at the end. We are in the end times,
the dispensation of fullness of times, when the Lord will return in judgment.
The Lord comes “quickly” in judgment. It does not mean He is coming soon.
Isaiah, John the Revelator and Daniel (along with Jeremiah and other prophets)
addressed the latter-days and the coming judgment in their prophecies.

Water You Turned Into Wine
Water You Turned Into Wine
On continuing the subject of changing our DNA, I wanted to go deeper into one way that has been mentioned in previous posts, and an amazing example of this.
To refresh, we have a choice of which DNA we want to live off of. The DNA of your parents, mortal and all the frailties, sicknesses and generational weaknesses, as well as the strengths (we aren't saying its all bad!) But our other choice is to live off of the other DNA we are given, our spirits DNA, which comes from a God, perfect and healthy.
This one way to change our DNA that I want to expound, is actually Communion or Sacrament. There is a great example of this in history, and one of the first things Jesus taught with His first miracle. Christ was teaching His whole life, being in the temple at 12, He had taught for a long time, not necessarily performing the bigger miracles that we think of but simply teaching. Then finding His friends to go on this journey with Him, the prep works was done and His mission began. He then performed His first miracle, the turning of water into wine.
Some might NOT think of this as one of His bigger ones, like raising the dead and healing the blind, but I think something more was being taught in this first one than we realize.
John Chapter 2:1-11
1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.
3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. (20-30 Gallons each)
7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.
9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.
11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
The Number 6
It is important to note that these water pots were used in the ceremonial washings. They were used in a process of changing and purifying the spirit. Also to note the total of pots being 6, which is the symbolic number for man, for work and laboring. Jesus was born on the 6th day and he died on the 6th day of the week, He also appeared in Bethany six days before Passover (where he was anointed by Mary with spikenard in preparation of his burial and resurrection) He also suffered on the cross for 6 hours.
"When we look at the number six in scripture, it most often deals with the application of "work" in the world. In fact, even in the chapter of Genesis that many use to claim it represents man, it clearly signified the completion of work days. i.e., in six days, work was complete, and on the seventh there was Rest! The emphasis was on the number 6 being days of work, not on it being the day man was created (which was a work of God). And this theme of work is what is usually seen being illustrated by the number six all throughout scripture. It was the time that God spent doing His Work, and it is the time we are likewise told to work!
Through much consideration and study in the scriptures, I have also come to believe that ultimately it is a representation of our sojourn (work) in the world, on our way to the ultimate Sabbath of rest. This first miracle that took place in 6 pots, symbolically saying, that Jesus was starting His work among the children of men. And being the pots used to hold the water for purification and spiritual cleansing, His work was going to be based around this subject. Then He changing it into wine, was how He was going to accomplish this great work.
When water is frozen it also changes into a hexagon or 6 sides (see link at bottom for more info)
To change the molecular structure of water into wine isn't a small thing. The molecule for water being 2 hydrogen and 1 oxygen, so to go from this.......
This was no small miracle, to change one thing into something completely different. This is a change that He did on the DNA and structure of the molecules down to the very smallest. In this very beginning of miracles, He was showing this concept that you can change the DNA. That for all man kind to be reclaimed from their fall, it was going to be by and through Him, by His blood changing ours.
Why WINE?
There are lots of different symbolic reasons for wine; here are some short explanations for your consideration.
The Importance of RED
"Duality in Red The color red in scripture has duality. It is first connected with sin, separating us physically and spiritually from God. The atonement helps negate this separation. Red (scarlet in scripture) serves as a constant reminder of the necessity of the Atonement. Like many symbols, red has duality, viewed from both a positive viewpoint (life and redemption—mercy) or from a negative perspective (sin and death—justice). Most associations with red in scripture are to attributes, events, or things of a more negative perspective, such as sin, violence, and death. The Atonement, an act of love, redeems us from these through repentance. Isaiah combined both perspectives when he wrote of the Atonement saving us from our sins: “Though your sins be scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool” (Isaiah 1:18). We also read in Isaiah 9:6 of the government (symbolized by a red robe) that shall be upon Christ’s shoulder (during the Millennium).
Red Grapes Sweet wine is that wine which first proceeds and is collected from the pressure of its own weight; they being the most ripe and soft. The Savior was under great pressure in the Atonement, more than man can stand and still live. This Mount of Olives garden setting has also been called a “winepress.” In it there may have been olive trees planted together with grapevines. Gethsemane literally translated in Hebrew means, “the winepress of oil” or “oil press.” We understand this garden’s connection to olive trees and oil, but its connection to red grapes is often overlooked. The sweet juice of grapes in scripture is often called blood, because of its color, and how sweet wine is produced. This connection is seen early on in Genesis 49:11 where we read, “Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass’s colt unto the choice vine; he washed in garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes.” Christ exercised mercy in the Atonement, and will exercise judgment at His second coming, both times atop the Mount of Olives, and both times covered in clothing stained red from wine or blood. In Isaiah 63:3 we read of the cup of trembling, “I have trodden the winepress alone [in Gethsemane]; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.” "- Val Brinkerhoff
Wine as part of COMMUNION
What is called the Lords Supper, was an actual meal, in which one actually was filled with the blessed bread and wine. In Communion when bread and wine are blessed which are symbolic of His Body and His blood, and when you eat of these you are taking in His life, His DNA into your body. Taking this into your body often would only help in getting your DNA to change, your DNA starts to recognize His and change to mirror His. Wine is a part of this not only for the color, red like blood, but in the blood is where the life is. We are then taking His life into our bodies, and a physical change happens. It is part of our spiritual cleansing.
“Take this…This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you” (Luke 22:17-18,20).
"Sacrament Symbolism In the ancient Tabernacle, the round, white loaves of bread and the scarlet-colored wine of the table of shewbread appear to have symbolized the white flesh and red blood of the future Savior (see Numbers 4:8). This table also featured a scarlet colored cloth covering. Red blood remains a sign of ‘life’ on the earth (see Genesis 9:4).
The Sacrament ordinance is one of the most important in the Lord’s church. It replaces ancient animal sacrifice (D&C 59:8-14), wherein a broken heart and a contrite spirit are instead offered to God (2 Peter 1:4). In taking internally the symbolic emblems of the Savior’s flesh and blood, we may be purified and renewed, that we might have the Spirit of Jesus Christ with us, in addition to that of the Holy Ghost. All ordinances are essentially symbolic, pointing to an important greater reality" -Val Brinkerhoff
Taking communion as often as you can where the bread and wine are blessed to hold His life, His DNA so you can then take it into your body will greatly help in this process of changing your DNA, for that is why it was given. In the first miracle of Cana He turned water in to wine, He showed this principal that He can change our fallen weak bodies into glorious spiritual ones.
